The Sky Blues boss spoke about Rose who is on trial from MLS side Seattle Sounders...

Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray will continue to assess trialist Andy Rose over the next week or two after he joined in Sky Blues training this week.

Rose has trained with City on a trial basis from MLS side Seattle Sounders, where he played 25 times last season.

Mowbray is keen to pass over some tactical advice to Rose but described the midfielder as a box-to-box player.

"First of all Andy is a very athletic boy," Mowbray said.

"He's six foot three, very lean, upright and covers the ground and eats the grass up when he runs.

"Andy doesn't know how we play specifically and he's come to join us for training, there are certain aspects we've talked to him about how we play with our midfield players.

"He's an old fashioned box-to-box player, he'll run into the opposition's box and runs back. We don't necessarily play like that so he's taking on some tactical advice

"He's a nice lad who looks hungry, as I said he's very athletic and we'll keep assessing him over the next week or so."
