Coventry City produced a stunning victory to mark their last game at Highfield Road, netting six in a 6-2 win over Derby County.

A crowd of 22,777 packed in Highfield Road saw the Sky Blues raced into a 4-0 half-time lead on that magical day through a brace from Gary McSheffrey, Dele Adebola's individual effort and Stern John's header.

The second-half saw Derby net thanks to Adam Bolder, but John scored his second to restore the four-goal lead.

The visitors struck again through Paul Peschisolido's low shot but substitute Andy Whing's superb half-volley gave Highfield Road the perfect send-off.
