Coventry City supporters are in for a treat – even before the match kicks-off at the Ricoh Arena tonight.

The Sky Blues take on Gillingham at 7.45pm and supporters are being urged to get to the ground as early as possible to ensure everyone is in their seat before kick-off.

John Dalziel is returning to the Ricoh as matchday host and a range of songs – many selected by fans over social media – will help to build up the atmosphere ahead of the match.

A special edit of ‘Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home)’ will be played as well as Thin Lizzy’s ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’. There will also be music from The Enemy, King, The Specials, The Selecter and Bad Manners along with ‘Mr Blue Sky’ and the ‘Sky Blue Song’ just before kick-off.

From 6pm, there will be arts and crafts in the Family Zone (situated in the corner of the North and West Stand) as well as a visit from Sky Blue Sam and members of Steven Pressley’s first team squad.

At half-time, there will be a match involving players from the Sky Blues in the Community Player Development Centres.

There will also be a solemn moment during the half-time interval as the club remembers any supporters who have passed away in the last 12 months. Again, these have been collated via social media but fans can still get in touch with the club if they would like a friend or loved one to be remembered at this time by emailing customer.service@ccfc.co.uk by 3pm.
