The City manager has expressed caution that the weekend's game against Peterborough United might come too soon for Reda Johnson and Frank Nouble...

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has confirmed Danny Pugh will be out for at least a month after sustaining an injury against Bristol City.

The City defender came off in the first-half of the 3-1 defeat to the Robins at the Ricoh Arena and will need an operation which will sideline Pugh for four weeks.

Pressley also confirmed that Reda Johnson returned to training yesterday whilst Frank Nouble is also in full training but cautioned that the weekend's game against Peterborough United might come too soon.

The City boss said: "The negative is that Danny Pugh will be out for a month. He's going to need a slight operation so that's really disappointing for us.

"Reda returned to training for the first time yesterday which was good to see but the weekend's game might come too soon for him just now.

"That's the same with Frank Nouble as well. We're getting some positives steps forward but tomorrow might come too soon for them two. We've got to look at the risk factor. We could throw them in there, they could blow up and we lose them for the next four or five weeks, and that's the last thing we want to happen."
