TEAM NEWS: Coventry City v Barnsley - Marcus Tudgay starts for the Sky Blues in the Under-21s

Coventry City Under-21s have announced their team for the Professional Development League 2 North clash with Barnsley at Nuneaton Town’s Liberty Way.

Ryan Allsop will start the game in goal having been on the bench for Saturday’s first team clash with Leyton Orient, while Conor Thomas also returns to action at the heart of the midfield.

Shaun Miller, James Maddison and Marcus Tudgay start as the front trio after all three were also on the bench for the Sky Blues’ draw at the weekend.

The fixture gives the Under-21s the chance to record their third consecutive win after back-to-back 2-0 victories.


Coventry City: Allsop; Bromley, Kelly-Evans, Harries; Whitmore, C.Thomas, Trialist, G. Thomas; Maddison, Tudgay, Miller.
