REWIND: Watch Coventry City's 3-1 over AFC Wimbledon in last season's FA Cup First Round tie

7 November 2014

Relieve the Sky Blues' victory over the Dons at this stage of the competition last year, as City progressed to the Second Round...

Coventry City take on Worcester City in the FA Cup First Round at the Ricoh Arena on Sunday, and the Sky Blues will hope for another cup run, just like the one they enjoyed last season.

City made it all the way to the Fourth Round, and got knocked out by eventual winners Arsenal. Their campaign started with a trip away to AFC Wimbledon.

City won 3-1 after a clinical performance. The Dons took the lead when Michael Smith headed home to take the lead.

But the Sky Blues responded when Callum Wilson pounced on an error to equalise. Carl Baker put City ahead, before a Callum Kennedy own goal sealed victory, and a second round tie against Hartlepool.

After beating the Pools in a replay, City went on to beat Championship side Barnsley 2-1 at Oakwell, before a plum tie against the Gunners. The Sky Blues lost 4-0, but it was a memorable night in front of a full house at the Emirates Stadium.
