"It was a tough time for me. I wasn't enjoying football, now everything has changed." Adam Barton

Plenty of great Coventry City content in the PUSB match-day programme as the Sky Blues face Notts County in League One...

Coventry City's Adam Barton has admitted he was not enjoying football at the start of the campaign and revealed he was close to leaving the club in the summer.

Speaking exclusively to matchday programme PUSB, Barton revealed it was a tough period in his career, but also explained how his passion for the game has returned, with him eager to retain his place in the team.

The midfielder said: "In the summer, we all thought it would be best if I moved on. I had conversations with the club and the gaffer and it was a case of waiting for the right club and the right move for me.

"But now I just want to focus on my football and keep my place in the team. I'm enjoying football again and I'm working hard each day to make sure I don't waste this chance."

The award-winning programme features more of Barton's thoughts, alongside our manager's column and captain's column with vice-captain Andy Webster.

Our exclusive interviews continue as Danny Swanson reveals all in our team-mates feature, on top of our in-depth visitors section, which gives you all you need to know about Notts County.

We also catch up with the Academy, development and ladies squads with interviews with Jason Farndon, Darren Murray and Craig Nicholls.
All this and more is in PUSB which is available all around the ground for £3!
