Sibling City supporters Aiden and Niall Courtney win a pair of Franck Moussa's boots after CCFC Superstore prize draw competition

A pair of Coventry City supporting brothers were handed a unique prize as they landed a pair of Franck Moussa’s boots following a competition set-up by the CCFC Superstore.

Aiden and Niall Courtney, aged six and ten, were the lucky winners of Moussa’s match-worn boots, as fans who spent £10 or more in the Superstore over the course of a weekend were automatically entered into the special prize draw.

The Belgian scored a series of sensational goals throughout the campaign including the Sky Blues’ Goal of the Season against Preston, while two other Moussa specials were voted second and third in a season of outstanding strikes for City.

Aiden and Niall were also in for another treat – as they collected the prize from the midfielder himself after their father, Francis, had his name drawn from the prize draw hat.

And Francis – a lifelong City fan – was delighted with the boys’ prize particularly as it was presented by one of their favourite players.

“We were all really surprised,” Francis said.

“I don’t think Aiden and Niall were expecting to get Moussa’s boots after their trip to the store! It’s obviously a great prize and the boys were absolutely chuffed. Moussa was in fantastic form all season with all the goals he scored, and as one of the lads’ favourite players, it was a really special prize.

“When they went to meet Franck he was great with them, and that added a great experience to getting the boots.

“I’ve been a Coventry fan all my life since school, and my boys weren’t going to support anybody else! They don’t have much choice whether they like it or not! But it’s great as a family and they’re both absolutely delighted with their prize.”
