Sky Blues striker Callum Wilson wants a hat-trick on the pitch to mirror his trio of End Of Season awards

Coventry City striker Callum Wilson says that his next aim his to bag a hat-trick on the pitch for the Sky Blues after picking up a hat-trick of end of season awards.

The 22-year-old was voted Player and Players' Player of the Season as well as securing the Top Goalscorer gong after netting 22 goals in all competitions during the 2013/14 season.

Wilson also secured a place in the PFA League One team of the year after a run of form which the Coventry-born hitman admitted surpassed even his own expectations.

"It was an incredible night on a personal level to be fair because over the years I've been to these awards and seen other players pick them up so to be involved and have a purpose on the night was an amazing feeling," he said.

Coventry City would like to thank Allsopp & Allsopp for being our headline sponsor for the 2013/14 End Of Season Awards

"Injuries had hampered my progress previously but I always thought that if I could get a run in the team then I could achieve things although not to the extent that I have this season. These awards were not an expection of mine at the start of the season so I've impressed myself to be honest."

He went on to say that having netted four braces this season, his next aim was to bag a hat-trick for the Sky Blues next season.

"I've not scored a hat-trick on the pitch yet and after I managed to get past ten goals that became a target for me. I've had a good season this season so the hat-trick is next for me so I can get the matchball signed by the lads and put it up on my mantlepiece."
