Coventry City were flying off the back of an unbeaten October where they picked up 13 points out of a possible 15 when they moved into November.

They got the month off to the best possible start when a Leon Clarke brace and a strike from Callum Wilson handed them a 3-0 win over Notts County at Sixfields.

November also saw the start of the Sky Blues' FA Cup campaign where they travelled to AFC Wimbledon in the first round. Despite going a goal down they rallied to a 3-1 win which saw Wilson and Carl Baker get on the scoresheet with a Callum Kennedy own goal completing the win at the Kingsmeadow.

A second appearance in front of the Sky cameras followed where City were on the brink of another three points at Bradford City. They were leading 3-2 going into injury time after goals from Clarke, Wilson and Andy Webster's first professional goal for the club.

A Nahki Wells spot kick rescued a point for the Bantams though and also completed a hat-trick for Wells.

City's eight-match unbeaten streak came to a resounding end the following weekend though when the Sky Blues went down 5-1 to Tranmere at Sixfields before they suffered their first set of back-to-back defeats of the season with another home defeat in midweek, this time 3-0 to Rotherham.

The finished the month in emphatic fashion though when they travelled to MK Dons along with 7,000 Sky Blues supporters who watch City come back from a goal down to beat Karl Robinson's side 3-1 thanks to goals from loan debutants Chris Maguire and Chris Dagnall.

Dagnall got City level in the second half before Maguire came off the bench to produce two stunning late free kicks and get the Sky Blues back to winning ways.
