Relive the Sky Blues' 2013/14 League One campaign with a series of picture galleries moving on to November

The first half of the 2013/14 season was coming to a close for the Sky Blues and it had been a memorable first half of the campaign.

Callum Wilson's arrival in the first team had seen him being heralded as a goal machine after some outstanding form, even by League One standards.

City had also wiped out their pre-season ten-point deficit and were looking to see in the New Year in the top half of the league table.

December kicked off with a long FA Cup trip to Hartlepool United in the second round which saw the Pools hold on for a 1-1 draw to set up a replay at Sixfields.

Another stalemate followed for City against Crewe but this time in the league as Wilson and Franck Moussa overturned the Alex's early lead to go 2-1 up only for Chuks Aneke to make it 2-2.

The Sky Blues then welcomed Hartlepool to Sixfields where they dispatched the Pools with a double from Leon Clarke to set up an FA Cup third round trip to Barnsley.

The momentum could not unfortunately guarantee points at Swindon Town four days later when they went down 2-1 to the Robins despite taking the lead through Clarke.

The disappointment of defeat was shortlived though as the Sky Blues continued their rich vein of scoring form at Sixfields with a 4-2 win over in-form Peterborough.

Two from Clarke, one from Moussa and another from Wilson buoyed a bumper crowd which then saw City finish out the month with a 1-1 draw at Sixfields after an overhead kick from skipper Baker.
