Award-winning estate agent to be the headline sponsor at the Coventry City End of Season Awards...
An award-winning estate agent –with offices in Coventry and Dubai – has agreed a sponsorship deal for Coventry City Football Club’s End of Season Awards night this weekend.
Allsopp & Allsopp, based in New Union Street, is run by two Sky Blues fans brothers Carl and Lewis Allsopp.
The company, which was established in 2008 in Dubai before opening an office in the city in 2013, agreed the sponsorship for the sold-out awards ceremony which takes place this Sunday at the Village Urban Resort in Coventry.
Steven Pressley and all of his first team squad will be present alongside Sky Blues supporters to mark their achievements on the pitch following the 2013/14 campaign.
Coventry City corporate sales manager Tynan Scope said he was delighted to attract Allsopp & Allsopp as headline sponsor.
“It is great to do business with not only a young and vibrant business but one that is local and close to the club,” Tynan said.
“The awards evening is always a very popular event and has a very high-profile, which will obviously reflect on Allsopp & Allsopp.
“We’re all looking forward to the night which will see the players’ achievements acknowledged in what has been a tough but exciting season.”
Carl Allsopp said it had been a difficult year for Coventry City fans but felt the players’ performance should be recognised.
He said: “I think when most supporters saw the ten points being deducted, they thought that was it – we’d be relegated this season.
“But Steven Pressley and the team have been absolutely brilliant. They treated the fans to some fantastic football in the early part of the season and then, when they’ve had to dig deep in the past few weeks, they have done it and made sure we are in this league going into next season.
“There has been a lot going on this season and it’s been a really hard year for Coventry City supporters but I think the vast majority would agree that Steven Pressley and the team deserve our complete support.
“That’s the reason we’ve chosen to sponsor the awards and I hope everyone has a great night.”
