Midrepro MD John Ison explains that his company's new sponsorship deal with the Sky Blues is about more than business
Coventry office printing solutions company Midrepro have today been unveiled as the Sky Blues' official partner and back-of-shirt sponsor but their relationship with the club runs deeper.
All of the first team shirts are being printed up with Midrepro's official logo ready for Sunday's clash with Port Vale but for City midfielder Conor Thomas the relationship with Midrepro is a little stronger.
Midrepro have been sponsoring Conor for the last three seasons, right the way through his progression into the first team where he has been a part of the Academy-originated nucleus that has been so successful for boss Steven Pressley this season.
Midrepro's managing director John Ison said: "I've known Conor since he was born as my wife and his mother are the best of friends so I've seen Conor's career go from strength to strength right from the very beginning when he played for Coundon Court and Christ The King.
"We've been on family holidays together, we've seen Conor progress through the Academy and our support for him goes beyond a business relationship. As a company and personally we are proud of what he's achieving and we're delighted that he, as well as the rest of the first team, will now sport Midrepro's logo on the back of the shirt."
