Ten-man Coventry City produced a valiant performance against Gillingham at Priestfield but still went down 4-2 to the hosts in a game strewn with drama.Referee Darren Sheldrake awarded two penalties to each side as well as showing Dan Seaborne a straight red card as a pair of Adebayo Akinfenwa penalties and strikes from Myles Weston and Jake Hessenthaler proved enought to hand Peter Taylor's side all the points.
Callum Wilson and Carl Baker provided City's goals from the spot as they threatened to make a late comeback although it did not materialise as the Sky Blues slipped to a second consecutive defeat on the road.
