'David Prutton could start' - Pressley

28 March 2014

The City boss has also speculated that he might revert back to the 4-4-2 pressing game against Crewe...

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley could hand a debut to loan signing David Prutton at Crewe Alexandra tomorrow.

The Sky Blues made his third loan signing of the week as the former Leeds United, Southampton and Nottingham Forest midfielder David Prutton signed on loan until the end of the season from Championship side Sheffield Wednesday.

John Fleck is set to miss the game through suspension after picking up his tenth yellow card of the season in the win over Stevenage.

Pressley could change the formation from the win over Stevenage as he says the Gresty Road challenge might require a different approach.

The City boss said: "I look at every game differently. I always look to pick a team which we believe can win the game.

"We've gone for the 4-4-2 pressing game for the majority of the season but sometimes, like in midweek, certain challenges require different solutions.

"We've looked at Crewe and we've picked a system which we think will get the right result against them.

"David adds a lot to the squad. Experience and leadership are two of his main qualities but he's also a good character to have around. There is a possibility he can play but there are a number of factors to consider."
