Carl Baker and Franck Moussa doubts

The City boss has also confirmed Nathan Delfouneso should be fit for the game against the Saddlers tomorrow...

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has confirmed midfielders Carl Baker and Franck Moussa are doubts for the League One game against Walsall.

The City captain came off the bench during the 0-0 draw with Shrewsbury Town and reported a calf problem after the game.

Baker won’t train before the game against the Saddlers but will face a late fitness test tomorrow.

Moussa reported a groin problem after the game so he is also a doubt but Pressley had positive news on Nathan Delfouneso.

The City boss said: “We’ve had a few problems on the back of the Shrewsbury game. Carl Baker has a calf problem and will not train before the game.

“We will give him a late fitness test tomorrow and see if he can be involved. Franck has a problem with his groin unfortunately.

“He’ll probably not train today as well and we’ll look at him tomorrow. But we’re hopeful Nathan will come through the session today.

“He has been very frustrated with injury since he came to the club and I know he is eager to get back. If he comes through today, he’ll be available.”
