Coventry City Football Club is saddened by the passing of former player Don Bennett and would like to provide details of the funeral for the former full back.
Bennett, who passes away recently at the age of 80, made 80 appearances for the club after making his debut in October 1959.
For the former City defender, football was very much a second sport for the exceptional all-round sportsman who also made nearly 400 appearances for Middlesex County Cricket Club as a middle order batsman and medium fast bowler.
Don Bennett's funeral service will take place on Friday 4th July 2014 at 11.20am at West Hertfordshire Crematorium, High Elms Lane, Watford, WD25 0JS, and will be followed by a wake at Radlett Cricket Club, Cobden Hill, Watling Street, Radlett, Hertfordshire, WD7 7JN.
