Sky Blues supporter wins 2014/15 Season Ticket competition prize for unborn grandson

15 July 2014

Find out how our latest 2014/15 Season Ticket competition winners plans to put his prize to good use

Coventry City fan Ken Browne’s decision to renew his Season Ticket has helped him provide an early present for his unborn grandchild.

Ken, from Green Lane, became the latest winner of our weekly prize draw for fans who purchase their Season Ticket before August 1.

After being informed that his name had been picked out, he read through the list of prizes and opted for £50 worth of vouchers to spend at the CCFC Superstore.

The reason behind Ken’s decision was to help influence his son’s unborn child to support the Sky Blues to keep the City tradition in the family.

A supporter for over 40 years, Ken said he was delighted to win the vouchers and will be putting them towards some new Sky Blues baby treats for his unborn grandchild to enjoy – particularly with new infant home and away kits soon coming into stock.

“I’m delighted to have won, it’s a great surprise,” Ken said.

“It’s a bonus which I didn’t expect when I renewed my Season Ticket. As my son and his partner are expecting I chose the vouchers from the list of prizes so my grandchild has to support City!

“The competition is a good thing being run by the club and it’s fantastic to have won the vouchers, which will be put to good use.”

Sky Blues supporters who purchase their Season Tickets or Corporate Season Tickets for the 2014/15 League One campaign before early bird prices end on August 1 will automatically be entered into our weekly prize draw.

Every week a name will come out of the hat and that person will be able to pick one prize off the list. But once it's gone, it's gone so the earlier you buy your 2014/15 Season Ticket the better choice of prizes you will have if you win.

2014/15 Season Tickets start from as little as £184 for adults.
