Coventry City Under-18s began their 2014/15 pre-season with a 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic.
The Sky Blues returned to pre-season training two weeks ago and are set to play six matches before the start of the 2014/15 season.
It was a tight affair where both teams used the opportunity to assess their squad.
The only goal of the game came in the 17th minute when Under-16s player Geani Stanciu turned in the rebound after the keeper parried his low shot.
The Under-18s' next pre-season game is at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, July 19th at 11am.
