Support PCUK and Tynan at Orient!

28 January 2014

Make sure you help Tynan Scope start his fundraising efforts at Leyton Orient tonight...

Coventry City corporate sales manager Tynan Scope is lighting the touch paper on his fundraising efforts for Prostate Cancer UK tonight by visiting the starting point of his 150-mile bike journey to Amsterdam in June.

Scope will hop on the saddle this summer and join the Football League and Prostate Cancer UK event which will see plenty of fellow riders including former England and AC Milan striker Luther Blissett pedal their way to the Dutch capital to raise money for the PCUK charity.

Over 40,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year, with a quarter of all new cases of cancer diagnosed in the UK to men being prostate cancer.

The starting point of Tynan's ride in June will be Leyton Orient's Matchroom Stadium so to start off his fundraising appeal he will be cycling on a turbo trainer outside the away end at Brisbane Road until kick-off, in the hope of getting a healthy boost from the 500-plus travelling Sky Blue Army who will be supporting City in their League One clash with the O's tonight.

If you see Tynan outside the away end tonight, pop over for a chat (in between him catching his breath), give him some moral support and help him get his fundraising efforts off to a great start!

If you want to join him on the ride as well you can! Just visit www.prostatecanceruk.org/amsterdam
