Having already surpassed his minimum fund-raising target for Prostate Cancer UK, Tynan Scope appeals for more support...
Coventry City corporate sales manager Tynan Scope has already surpassed his minimum fund-raising target for the Prostate Cancer UK London to Amsterdam bike ride, but still needs your support.
Scope will be saddling up to take on a mammoth 150-mile trip from London to Amsterdam, alongside plenty of other riders including former England and AC Milan striker Luther Blissett for Prostate Cancer UK.
Having already raised £1200 due to the support of City fans, Scope has set his sights on a new target.
He said: "I didn't expect to surpass £1200 this early on but the support from City fans and companies such as G and R Scaffolding, who donated £300 last month, has been incredible.
"My personal target has always been £2000 but I’m hopeful that with the amount of donations I'm getting I can achieve this and if I do I will reset my target to £5,000 for Prostate Cancer UK.
"I'm running the Coventry half-marathon on the 23rd March which should help in my preparations for the bike ride.
"Once again, I'd like to thank everyone who has already donated."
Over 40,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year, with a quarter of all new cases of cancer diagnosed in UK men being prostate cancers.
