Sky Blues midfielder's League One strike in win over Leyton Orient makes Goal of the Year shortlist

Coventry City midfielder Franck Moussa has made then ten-man shortlist for the Mitre Goal of the Year at the 2014 Football League Awards.

The 24-year-old's spectacular strike in the Sky Blues' 3-1 win over Leyton Orient at Sixfields in October has been selected for the Goal of the Year award which is voted for by fans so you can help Franck get his hands on the award.

Moussa has scored a series of stunners this season although the criteria of the award is any goal scored in the 2013 calendar year so his more recent screamers at Preston North End, Rotherham and Bristol City will have to wait until next year.

The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on Sunday, March 16th.

Moussa's nomination means the Sky Blues will be going for two awards on the night after the club was also shortlisted for the Digital Content & Audience Growth award.
