Ryan Lowe gives Tranmere a one-goal half time advantage with early spot kick
Coventry Cit go into the break 1-0 down at Prenton Park after Ryan Lowe's 12th minutes opener from the spot for Tranmere Rovers.
Lowe sent Joe Murphy the wrong way after Liam Ridehalgh went down under a challenge from Billy Daniels, referee Andy Madley pointing to the spot.
Carl Baker, Franck Moussa and Daniels all forced saves out of Owain Fon Williams at the other end though as the Sky Blues finished the half the stronger of the two sides to leave it al to play for in the second half.
