Corporate Sales Manager Tynan Scope has thanked City fans as he continues his fundraising efforts...

Coventry City corporate sales manager Tynan Scope has thanked City fans for their generosity as his fundraising efforts continue to go from strength to strength.

Tynan will hop on the saddle this summer and join the Football League and Prostate Cancer UK event which will see plenty of fellow riders, including former England and AC Milan striker Luther Blissett, pedal their way to Amsterdam from London to raise money for the PCUK charity.

Over 40,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year, with a quarter of all new cases of cancer diagnosed in the UK to men being prostate cancer.

The club will continue to support the fight against cancer tonight as manager Steven Pressley will be wearing the PCUK's Men United badge at the Bristol City game in support of World Cancer Day.

To kick off his fundraising efforts, Tynan cycled on a turbo-trainer outside the away end at Brisbane Road until kick-off as City took on Orient last Tuesday.

City fans have supported Tynan in his efforts, raising £751.81 already and he is determined to keep going.

The City corporate sales manager said: "It was fantastic to see so many City fans support me on the night and many people have donated throughout the week after the event.

"I've had many generous donations with some people coming forward and telling me of their battles with prostate cancer.

"City fans at the Orient match were very generous with some people putting in £5 and £10 notes, and I have received online donations as high as £100 which is fantastic.

"I plan to continue my fundraising efforts right up until the bike ride so watch this space."
