"Reda has a slight injury after the game on Wednesday, but we'll continue to monitor it." Coventry City's Steven Pressley

The Sky Blues boss also welcomes Aaron Martin back to the squad as he was cup tied in midweek...

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley revealed that Reda Johnson picked up a slight knock in midweek against Bristol City, making him a doubt for this weekend's trip to Port Vale.

Johnson has made 14 appearances for the Sky Blues so far this season, starting the last three games, but is a doubt for the game against the Valiants.

Aaron Martin returns to the squad after being cup-tied against the Robins in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and with Seb Hines and Jordan Willis returning to fitness, Pressley admits he has a tough decision to make.

"Reda had a slight injury after the game on Wednesday," the City boss said.

"He appears to have got through that but we'll continue to monitor the situation.

"But we welcome back Aaron Martin, prior to Wednesday he had been performing very well and developed a good partnership with Andy Webster.

"That comes into my thinking but I've also got Jordan Willis who acquitted himself very well the other night, so I've got a decision to make."
