Coventry City manager Steven Pressley revealed to the Coventry Telegraph that Middlesbrough loanee Seb Hines will return to his parent club when his loan deal expires on Sunday.
Hines, who signed for the club back in October, made nine appearances in an injury-hit spell with the Sky Blues.
Pressley was adamant that it was nothing against Hines and praised the defender's character.
“Seb has been really unfortunate and I feel really sorry for him because he’s been plagued with injuries and had a very frustrating period here,” said Pressley.
“He’s a terrific character and been good to have about the place but, unfortunately, not played enough football here.”
