The City boss hopes to add to his forward line options before the end of the summer transfer window...

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has revealed he is set for talks with a transfer target today ahead of the Sheffield United game.

The Sky Blues has made no secret of his desire to bring another striker to the club to add to his current striking options; Marcus Tudgay, Josh McQuoid and Shaun Miller.

As City prepare to face the Blades in the second League One game of the season, the City boss hopes to a land a striker 'sooner rather than later'.

Pressley said: "We've made contact with one or two strikers and we're hoping to meet with one of those targets today.

"If we're able to do that and if it goes well, then hopefully at some point next week, we can move things forward.

"Of course, with the games coming up, we'd like to bring someone in sooner rather than later."
