Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has confirmed the club are set to sign a striker later today.
The City boss has made no secret of his desire to bring in extra fire-power to his forward-line having already signed Shaun Miller, Marcus Tudgay and Josh McQuoid.
Pressley, who watched his side record their first victory of the season against Sheffield United at the weekend, is hopeful the club will clinch the deal later today.
The City boss said: "We're hoping we can bring another striker into the club today. I've wanted to bring another striker into the club but we've had to be patient.
"If we can get it over the line, it'll be a real positive for the club and I'm excited by it."
