In-form Sky Blues striker meets John Shelton Year 6 pupils who have been looking into his career

Coventry City striker Callum Wilson paid a visit to John Shelton Primary School last week to visit pupils tasked with researching his playing career.

The League One top scorer has enjoyed a blistering campaign in front of goal this season, netting 22 times in all competition, and popped into to see Year 6 pupils at the school, on Briscoe Road, and meet his researchers first hand.

The visit was part of Sky Blues in the Community (SBitC) School Sports Partnership with John Shelton School where SBitC coaches deliver curriculum  P.E lessons and after-school clubs.

Nikki Miles Area Development Officer for SBITC Coventry said: "The school sports partnership provides sport, exercise-specific and multi-sport activities to meet national curriculum requirements as well as develop knowledge, skills and understanding for pupils within sports."
