Jordan Forrester scored late on for City but Under-18s lose at Moor Farm against the Rams....
Coventry City Under-18s were left to rue missed chances as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Derby County.
The Rams went ahead in the 2nd minute of the game but City dominated much of the play until the break and were unfortunate to be behind after Courtney Baker-Richardson hit the bar.
The Sky Blues, who saw a debut for Under-15s player Dan Smith in a young side, saw Baker-Richardson hit the wood-work again before the Rams doubled their lead with 20 minutes remaining.
City were able to get one back with five minutes remaining when George Thomas found substitute Jordan Forrester in the area who produced a calm finish.
The Under-18s' next game is on Saturday against Huddersfield Town at the Alan Higgs Centre.
