Coventry City stars Conor Thomas, Blair Adams, Mathieu Manset and Cyrus Christie expressed their delight after the 2-1 win over Gillingham on social media site Twitter.
Leon Clarke put City ahead within the first minute but former City striker Cody McDonald returned to haunt Steven Pressley's side, equalising for the Gills inside the first ten minutes.
Despite City having 25 shots during the match, Coventry had to wait until the 82nd minute when Franck Moussa won the game for the home side with a close-range effort.
Right-back Christie (@cyruschristie) praised the side for escaping the relegation zone whilst Manset (@_Manset22) lauded Christie's assist for Clarke's opening goal.
