Trialist up front for Under 21s clash

23 October 2013

Sky Blues Under 21s prepare for their Premier League Cup first round clash with Notts County at Nuneaton Town

Sky Blues striker Mathieu Manset will pair up with an unnamed trialist for today's Under 21s Premier League Cup first round clash at home to Notts County.

The Under 21s host the Magpies at Nuneaton Town for the 4pm kick off as both sides look to earn themselves a second round berth at home to Wolves.

Development squad lead coach Ian Foster also names Adam Barton in the side as well as Aaron Phillips who takes the captain's armband just five days after scoring his first senior goal for the Sky Blues in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Wolves at Molineux.

The cup clash, at the Sperrin Brewery Stadium, is open to the public and priced at £3 for adults and £1 for Under 16s.
