Join the City-supported sponsored walk and raise money for Help the Hedgehogs
We have teamed up with Warwickshire Wildlife Trust to support their Help for Hedgehogs campaign, and Sky Blues fans can raise funds to help the campaign this weekend.
A sponsored 7km walk is taking place this Sunday, 20th October at Sowe Valley in Coventry to raise money to help the campaign and you can sign up by clicking HERE.
Hedgehogs are in decline, nationally and across, Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull. Warwickshire Wildlife Trust aims to raise £250,000 to work with local schools, planners, developers, local businesses and landowners to raise awareness of the issues involved in the hedgehogs decline and highlight how they can best help preserve this species for future generations.
This Sunday’s route is perfect for families and fans of all ages, with a scenic, circular route along the Sowe Valley Footpath Extenison Route, passing through Longford Park, along canal towpaths and the through the Wyken Slough nature reserve. You can even do it in fancy dress or bring your dog!
