Daniels in contention for Orient

7 October 2013

City midfielder Billy Daniels is expected to be in contention for tomorrow's game against Orient...

Coventry City midfielder Billy Daniels is expected to return from injury against Leyton Orient in the Johnstone Paint Trophy tomorrow night.

The 19-year old has struggled with a hip injury since playing 90 minutes for the Under-21s side against Derby County.

Daniels, who has already scored three goals this season, has missed games against Port Vale, Brentford and Stevenage but Pressley says he will be in contention.

The City boss said: "Billy is available for the game so he will definitely come back into the reckoning for tomorrow night's game.

"Carl (Baker) is still a doubt for the game but we will continue to monitor the situation. But having Billy back gives the side a real boost and an added threat.

"It will be a difficult game so we need players like him to be in contention."
