People from across Coventry and Warwickshire are being invited to spice up their Christmas festivities at the Grace Research Fund’s annual Christmas party.

The charity, which funds research into the causes of premature births and the best forms of neonatal care, will host the Bollywood themed event at the Leamington Spa Town Hall on Saturday, December 7.

The Bollywood bash will take place from 7.30pm to midnight and will include a host of party games as well as a charity raffle.

Guests will also be treated to a Christmas curry while a number of experience prizes will be auctioned.

The proceeds raised will help to support research conducted at University Hospital in Coventry, Warwick Hospital and Nuneaton’s George Eliot Hospital, as well as Coventry University and the University of Warwick.

Kuljeet and Kiran Sapra, parents of Arvir, who was born 15 weeks early, and Arian, who are supporters of the Grace Research Fund are the hosts of the evening.

Kuljeet said: “Supporting the charity makes a massive difference that cannot be measured in any other terms than from our hearts.

“Grace Research Fund makes a huge contribution to all aspects of neonatal care. This year marked the charity’s 10th anniversary and we are proud to say that within that time we have helped to raise over £200,000 in research funding.

“But that would not have been possible without the generosity of all those who have supported the charity.

“We want to boost our funds even further and are inviting people to spice up their Christmas festivities at a fantastic Bollywood bash.”

Coventry City is one of the organisations helping to support the Grace Research Fund and its logo is featuring on the Sky Blues’ shirts for the rest of the 2013/14 season.

Stacie McDermott, marketing manager at Coventry City, said: “The Grace Research Fund’s Christmas Bollywood bash promises to be a fantastic event and we are proud to be supporting the charity.

“We have already received a terrific response from supporters since announcing the partnership and after the kit ‘sponsorship’ ends, the Grace Research Fund will remain as our sponsored charity for the remainder of the 2013/14 season.”

Tickets for the Bollywood party are priced at £25 for adults and £15 for students. For more information and to buy tickets, please contact Andy Coe or Cora Hiatt on 02476 966682 or Kuljeet Sapra on 07813 190887.
