'New signings could start' - Pressley

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has confirmed all three loan signings can play against MK Dons on Saturday.

The Sky Blues boss made some shrewd acquistions on loan deadline day, bringing in Barnsley striker Chris Dagnall, Sheffield Wednesday winger Chris Maguire and Yeovil Town defender Dan Seabourne.

With striker Leon Clarke out for three to four weeks having suffered a hip and thigh problem, the loan trio add some much-needed depth to the squad going into the busy Christmas period.

Whilst Pressley confirmed the trio are all in contention for tomorrow's match at stadium:MK, he didn't outline if any of them would start the fixture.

The City boss said: "We are really happy to see some new faces in the building as it does give the whole squad a lift.

"They will all be involved in the squad tomorrow. There will be definitely starters with the trio we have brought in.

"Whether it's one or it's two, then I will let everyone know tomorrow."

Adam Barton started against Tranmere but picked up a slight knee injury which hindered his progress during the 5-1 defeat.

Pressley has confirmed he is back in contention to play against the Dons whilst Billy Daniels has been struck down by illness.

He added: "Leon (Clarke) is still out for tomorrow. We have to take each day as it comes with that at the moment.

"Billy Daniels has been in bed for a couple of days with illness so we will have to wait and see with him.

"But Adam Barton should return to the squad as he returns to full training today."
