Tickets for School participant Stivichall Primary School win tournament...

Stivichall Primary School recorded an impressive tournament win at the Hordain International Football Tournament.

The school, which participate in our Tickets for Schools scheme, beat teams from France and the Czech Republic to reach the final before beating Hordain 'A' 4-2 on penalties to cap a thrilling tournament.

Stivichall enjoyed impressive wins in the group stage, including beating Tackov from the Czech Republic 5-1, before winning 4-0 in the quarter finals and 2-1 in the semi-final.

They are the first English team to win the tournament and will be returning to France next year to defend their crown.

Well done to the entire team who did their City proud, including Sam Storey who was top scorer with four goals!
