Callum Wilson and Billy Daniels put pen to paper on new deals ahead of the 2013/14 season...

Coventry City striker Callum Wilson and midfielder Billy Daniels have put pen to paper on new deals ahead of the 2013/14 League One season.

With right-back Aaron Phillips extending his stay this morning, Wilson and Daniels have also committed their immediate future to the Sky Blues on the first day of pre-season.

City striker Wilson made 12 appearances last season, scoring one goal and he has penned a one-year deal.

The 19-year old Daniels, who has penned a two-year deal, impressed for the Under-21s last season and made three first team appearances.

Sky Blues manager Steven Pressley said: "I am delighted to see both Billy (Daniels) and Callum (Wilson) extend their stay at the club.

"Callum was involved with the first team towards the end of last season having fought hard to recover from injury problems and proved he deserves another deal.

"Billy is a player we want to see challenge for a regular first team spot next season and continue to improve as a footballer.

"To see three promising young players commit to the club on the first day of pre-season is really positive looking forward to the new season."
