30th annual Coventry Fun Run celebrates milestone in style with biggest ever turnout
The Coventry Fun Run celebrated its 30th Anniversary in style on Sunday as over 2,600 runners pounded the pavements around the War Memorial Park to make it the biggest Fun Run in its history.
Thousands of pounds are expected to be raised for a range of charities and good causes after people of all ages and abilities took part in the annual 3.5 mile event.
The club have been supporting the Coventry Round Table Three Spires organising committee with promoting the event this year and the Sky Blues were well represented on the day too.
Staff from behind the scenes took part in the Fun Run itself to raise money for various causes and provided a number of activities, including arts & crafts and a ‘Beat the Goalie’ competition, which raised over £140 for the Coventry Fun Run.
Sky Blues in the Community were also there to provide their powershot competition.
Sky Blue Sam posed for photos with people who were taking part in the run and the crowds which came out to support participants.
Well done to everyone who took part in the Coventry Fun Run- we hope you all enjoyed a fantastic day!
