Sky Blues youngster set to miss first pre-season friendly with minor injury

Young Coventry City defender Jordan Willis will miss the Sky Blues' first pre-season friendly away at Nuneaton after picking up a minor injury during training.

The centre-half twisted his knee in the club's final training session on Friday morning.

Manager Steven Pressley said although he was disappointed to be without the youngster for the trip to the Triton Showers Community Stadium, he was relieved the injury only appeared to be minor.

"He twisted his knee slightly so unfortunately he won't be involved at the weekend. There's no danger on him travelling with the squad to Holland on Sunday though and I'm fairly positive he can be involved during pre-season week."
