The Sky Blues in the Community ‘Coach Development Scheme’ - which offers free coaching courses to Coventry City FC ‘Partner Clubs’ – is set to start delivery this weekend, with a range of courses taking place over the next few weeks.
With over 50 junior football clubs signed up to the ‘partner club’ initiative the free courses are proving to be very popular amongst local volunteer coaches.
An FA Youth Module 1 course is also running over four days on the 29th, 30th June and 6th and 7th July 2013. This course takes place at the Moat House Leisure and Neighbourhood Centre in Coventry.
The module launched in 2009 and focuses on creating the right environment for learning for young players, and helping coaches becoming more effective in their delivery by tailoring sessions according to age, ability, and experience amongst other factors.
There are still spaces available on the Youth Module 1 course and an application form can be downloaded HERE.
