Striker joins up with Gills for training with view to a loan move
Coventry City striker Cody McDonald has been given permission to train with League Two club Gillingham with a view to a loan move.
The 26-year-old joined up with Gills boss Martin Allen and his squad this week, returning to the Priestfield Stadium where he scored 25 goals in 43 appearances during a season-long loan stint in 2010/11.
McDonald has netted seven goals in his 39 appearances for the Sky Blues since his transfer from Norwich City in the summer of 2011.
