City striker Cody McDonald now re-eligible for Sky Blues after being recalled from loan at Gillingham
Coventry City's recall of striker Cody McDonald from his loan spell at League Two side Gillingham has been approved by the Football League. That means the 26-year-old is now eligible for the Sky Blues as of today should caretaker boss Lee Carsley wish to include him in any match squads for this week's fixtures away to Bournemouth and at home to Swindon Town.
McDonald's loan spell with the Gills saw him net four goals in seven appearances for manager Martin Allen, the most recently being the winner in Saturday's 1-0 win away at Chesterfield.
