Carsley on Adams injury situation

Lee Carsley confirms Blair Adams out for 'four to five weeks'...

Coventry City interim first team manager Lee Carsley admitted Blair Adams could be out for ‘four to five weeks’.

The City left-back, who signed permanently with the club in January, suffered the knee injury during the 1-0 loss to Yeovil Town.

Carl Dickinson was brought in on loan from Watford to cover for Adams and Carsley thinks he will need time to recover from the injury.

Carsley commented: “No injury concerns other than Blair Adams who is still struggling with his knee. He has got a slight strain so it is nothing to serious.

“Depending on how his rehab goes, I say he will be out for four to five weeks but we have got cover in that position.”
