Venue: Sixfields
Kick-off: 7.45pm
Date: Tuesday, December 17th
Competition: FA Cup

Coventry City welcome Hartlepool United for the FA Cup second round replay at Sixfields.

The Sky Blues stretched their unbeaten league run to three games with a 2-2 draw against Crewe Alexandra at the weekend.

Franck Moussa cancelled out Tom Hitchcock's opener in the first half before Callum Wilson scored from the spot to put the Sky Blues ahead. Unfortunately, Chuks Aneke leveled the tie for the Alex as the sides shared the points.

Hartlepool United have recovered well from suffering relegation to League Two, with the team currently placed in mid-table.

Colin Cooper took over at Victoria Park and immediately looked to refresh the squad with young and energetic players.

Former senior players Ritchie Humphreys, Evan Horwood and Peter Hartley have moved onto other clubs and Cooper has brought in former Colchester United winger Jack Compton amongst others.

He has looked to the non-league system and signed Michael Duckworth from Bradford Park Avenue and Nialle Rodney from AFC Telford United.

Pools beat Notts County in the first round of the FA Cup so City should expect a tough test.

The Sky Blues recorded two victories over Hartlepool United last season, including a 5-0 win at Victoria Park which you can watch below.

Stephen Wright

The former Liverpool full-back moved to Coventry City from Sunderland in 2008 on a free transfer, signing a two-year deal with the club.

He made 55 appearances for the club during his spell at the Ricoh Arena before moving onto Brentford. He only made 11 appearances at Griffin Park before moving to Hartlepool United in 201, signing a one-year deal.

He made ten appearances for the club and now plays at Conference Premier side Wrexham.

Roy O’Donovan

The former Coventry City striker enjoyed his best form in English football at Hartlepool United during a loan spell.

Sunderland brought O’Donovan from League of Ireland side Cork City before sending him out on loan to Dundee United, Blackpool, Southend United and Hartlepool United.

He scored nine goals in 15 appearances for Pools in 2010, a run of form which convinced Aidy Boothroyd to sign him for Coventry City.

He was released from his contract at the club in January and he currently plays for League Two side Northampton Town.

Dimitrios Konstantopoulos

The Greek International goalkeeper made his move to England in 2003 with Hartlepool United from Portuguese side S.C Farense.

He stayed at Victoria Park for four years, turning in some impressive performances which linked him to a host of Championship and Premier League sides.

In 2007, he moved to Coventry City but only went on to make 33 appearances for the club and had several loan spells during his time at the club.

After he was released from the Sky Blues, he moved back to Greece and he is currently playing for A.E.K Athens.
