Coventry City's Under-18s were unable to seal the first half of the season off with a win, losing 3-1 at home to Birmingham. The Sky Blues went behind two minutes before half-time despite an even first-half when the Blues striker latched onto a through-ball and finished well.
Ryan Smith performed an incredible goal-line clearance four minutes after the break to keep City in the game.
Coventry dominated most of the second half and were deservedly level thanks to a fantastic flowing move in the 65th minute.
City shared 18 passes before James Maddison slid the ball to Jordan Shipley who nut-megged his defender and finished brilliantly from the left-side of the area.
