Coventry City Under-21's suffered defeat at the hands of an impressive Crewe Alexandra side, with experienced striker Nathan Ellington netting a brace.
The Alex went into a 3-0 lead before half-time thanks to Ellington's brace and a Jon Guthrie header.
They stretched their lead when Louis Johnson headed home but the moment of the night came when City's Brazilian trialist scored a superb 30-yard strike in the 73rd minute.
Crewe started the game at Nuneaton Town's Liberty Way strongly as Michael West burst down the left side but his low effort was well saved by City keeper Lee Burge.
