Coventry City Under-21's suffered defeat at the hands of an impressive Crewe Alexandra side, with experienced striker Nathan Ellington netting a brace.
The Alex went into a 3-0 lead before half-time thanks to Ellington's brace and a Jon Guthrie header.
They stretched their lead when Louis Johnson headed home but the moment of the night came when City's Brazilian trialist scored a superb 30-yard strike in the 73rd minute.
