Coventry City manager Steven Pressley was presented with the LMA Performance of the Week award, sponsored by F&C Investments, for the 5-4 win over Bristol City.

Leon Clarke, Callum Wilson and Billy Daniels put City into a 3-0 lead before the break but a brace from Sam Baldock and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas' deflected free-kick got Bristol level.

Wilson scored his second of the game to put the Sky Blues back ahead before Marvin Elliott made it 4-4 but Daniels grabbed the winning goal to claim a famous win for Steven Pressley's side.

After being presented with the award, Pressley credited the effort of his players and staff for City's first league win of the season.

The City boss said: "It was a wonderful game of football for the fans to witness and full credit goes to the players as they could have slipped away in the match but they kept going which is terrific.

"It wasn't an ideal situation for us as it was our first game at Sixfields but the players didn't let the circumstances effect them which shows a maturity in the squad.

"We have a very young squad and a long way to go in the season but I think the fans can be really excited with what the future holds with this group of players."
