De Marco Solicitors take advantage of new highlights sponsorship package
A Coventry company certainly got full value out of its sponsorship of the Sky Blues.
De Marco Solicitors agreed a deal to back the match and goal highlights on the Sky Blues website for the away game at Carlisle.
The employment law specialist, based on the Middlemarch Business Park, is run by lifelong City fan Sandra Garlick.
“The company has sponsored and supported the club in different areas over the years and I have been going to games since I was about 14,” she said.
“I cannot attend all the games since the move to Northampton, but I still want the team to thrive and thought this was the best way to help.
“I had no idea when we agreed to sponsor the goals and highlights package, that the team would be so prolific in front of goal at Carlisle.
“Steven Pressley has clearly given young players a chance and it is paying off with some really exciting football – and that is all that matters to me. We want the club to do well in the long term.”
Sandra, who goes to games with her father, is a trustee of Sky Blues in the Community and a committee member of the Former Players Association.
Tynan Scope, corporate sales manager at the club, said: “We are really pleased that De Marco agreed to sponsor the highlights and goals – and there was certainly a very healthy return.
“The current situation, as everyone knows, is not for the long term so the backing of firms such as De Marco is vital for us.
