Academy starlet George Thomas scored for Wales against the Faroe Islands..
Coventry City Academy starlet George Thomas scored for Wales in the UEFA Men Under-16s Tournament against the Faroe Islands at the Old Road Ground, Briton Ferry.
Thomas was selected to start for the Welsh team having came on against Northern Ireland in the first match of this International Development tournament.
The Faroes took the lead just after the half-time break but Thomas rose highest just minutes later in the area to make sure Wales got a share of the points.
City Academy starlet Cian Harries was on the bench for Wales having started in the win over Northern Ireland and they have their last match of the tournament tomorrow against Iceland.
